Sports News:

The Boys Volleyball Team fought hard this week in tough matches against Norwood and Old Tappan, but came up just short. The team continues to improve every day, showing great effort and teamwork. Our first match win is right around the corner—keep it up, boys!

Despite a difficult loss against Norwood Tuesday, our girls volleyball team showed immense fight! Quinn Hutchinson and Ava Topple were dominant with strong serving. Sophie Donnelly attacked the court with aggressive play, and Eden Canarick and Kami Bird fought hard at the net on every possession. Wednesday, the girls faced a tough opponent in Old Tappan, and they came away with a massive win! This victory wasn't just about the score, it was about the teamwork, the amazing resilience, and the sheer determination every single player showed. .Every single athlete both on the court and on the bench contributed to this success. They demonstrated perfect synergy, hustling for every ball and supporting each other through every single rally! We are incredibly proud of their effort! Our next home game is MONDAY, right here in our gym, against Closter!

Congratulations to the girls soccer team for an impressive week on the field!  On Tuesday, they beat Cliffside Park at home by a final score of 8-0.  Ayzah Malik and Olive Schryver led the team with 2 goals each.  Also scoring on Tuesday were Mackenzie Finer, Tierney Waldron, and Addie Beezer.  Then on Thursday, the girls continued their winning ways with a 2-0 victory on the road against undefeated Dwight Englewood!  Kami Bird and Olive Schryver controlled the middle of the field for the entire game, leading to goals by Eden Canarick and Ayzah Malik.  Goalkeeper Leighton Schryver spent the entirety of both games in net without letting up a goal this week, thanks to her impressive saves as well as the strong defensive play by Emma Sculco, Addie Beezer, Tierney Waldron and Abby Kim.  Amazing wins, girls soccer team  Way to make HP proud this week.

The soccer team dropped two challenging matches this week against Norwood and Old Tappan. The Spartans had two goals from Ryland Del Prete and one from Ellis Torrie with an assist from Aksel Geyimli.
