Sports:

The Girls' Basketball Team had an awesome week with two wins on the road. On Tuesday, the Spartans won against Norwood 33 to 18 and on Wednesday, the girls played an outstanding game against Old Tappan with a score of 60 to 36. The girls ended their regular season undefeated and will play in the second round of playoffs at home next week!

The Boys Basketball Team opened the week with an exciting 61–44 victory over Norwood. The game remained close until the fourth quarter, when strong team defense led to key turnovers and easy baskets that helped the Spartans pull away. Balanced scoring was a highlight, with 12 different players contributing to the scoring effort. Later in the week, the Spartans dropped a tough contest to OT by a score of 53–45. After a slow start that saw the boys fall behind by 18 points, the team showed tremendous fight, scoring a season-high 35 points in the second half to make it a competitive game. In the end, OT’s outside shooting and height proved to be the difference. Please come out and support the team today after school as they host OT in the final game of the regular season. The Spartans will then be back in action next Tuesday after school when they travel to OT for the first round of the league playoffs. Good luck, boys!
